This is the base unit. It will mount to a mounting plate or lift door listed below. It can be mounted with the knobs to the top or bottom. There are some blast cabinets that have windows smaller than 12" wide by 8.25" tall. For those cabinets our unit can be directly mounted using the instructions on the Mounting Dimension page. This unit purchased alone will have the perimeter seal gaskets and the felt liner included.

Mounting and adapter plates will have a gasket to seal the perimeter of RCV housing. The area around window will be covered with felt allowing the film to be advanced more easily.

This mounting plate will be used for cabinets with vertical window openings less than 11 inches. It does require a mounting surface of at least 12.75 inches from top to bottom. Being that it is 14 inches in same direction it will overhang the mounting surface. We recommend filler strips of wood, plastic, etc. so nothing hooks on these. We use sealant to hold them in place.

Top Light Box Filler Plate
The lights in the Rolling Clear View unit provide plenty of light for most blasting applications. On the smaller blast cabinets, 36" wide and smaller, we do not use any other lighting. This is why we make a filler plate and remove the light box. Many older cabinets have tube type florescent bulbs and require a large shield for protection from the abrasive. Many were not maintained over the years losing their effectiveness. We're not all the same and some want as much light as the can get. For those we do manufacture LED lights to replace the top light boxes. Used in conjunction with the lights in the RCV unit they are very effective.
