Top Cabinet Light
This is a four element 24VDC LED Light in an aluminum billet housing. It has a power input jack on the back side an ON/OFF button on the front. With an adapter plate it would replace the large light box on many cabinets. This light can be mounted on any surface using instructions supplied with the light. The light is18 inches long, 1.75 inches wide, and 1.25 inches tall.
Mounting dimensions for top light P/N 728-00-5116
The light has three mounting holes which also locate it, they are 3/16" diameter. Our mounting plates use #8 PEM studs to secure the lights. The center one is 1.5" long and the two outer ones are .625" long. The difference in the hole diameter and the thread size will allow a little deviation. If the surface you are mounting them to is thick enough it can be threaded to secure the screws. You'd only need to access a nut on the outside of the cabinet to change the sacrificial underlayment when it is bad.
Top Light adapters plates
When mounting, clean the top surface of the cabinet and apply sealant to the mating surfaces. Install fasteners (rivets are great) to secure the plate while sealant cures. Double sided tape also works really well.
Off set light mounting plate
This version will mount the light 2.25 inches off center. The plate can be mounted with the offset towards the front of the cabinet or towards the back depending on where you want more light.
Centered light mounting plate
​This version mounts the light in the center of the original light box opening for general illumination
